Bob’s Burger’s “Baby, You Can Chive My Car” Burger

The "Baby, You Can Chive My Car" Burger.

One of my favorite Christmas episodes of Bob’s Burger’s is Father of the Bob. This episode features Bob’s first-ever burger, the “Baby, You Can Chive My Car” Burger. This delicious burger features a feta-stuffed burger covered in sour cream and mustard sauce topped with fresh cut chives. We bought the Bob’s Burger’s Burger Book that features the real recipes that are featured on the chalkboard of the restaurant.

The first thing we did was fry the pickles for the “wheels” of the burger. Set pickle chips on a paper towel so they dry a bit. Mix the flour, cajun seasoning and salt in a large bowl. I would suggest using cajun seasoning with no added salt for this recipe.

In a separate bowl beat an egg to dip the pickles in. After dipping them in the egg, dredge them in a mixture of the flour, cajun seasoning and salt. Toss them in a pot of heated oil. You will need four fried pickles for each burger plus a few extra to eat because they are delicious. I think the best part of the “Baby, You Can Chive My Car” Burger is the fried pickles.

Preparing the burger

While the pickles are frying you can start to prepare the patty. To make the patty you will place crumbled feta into the beef. Be sure to season the patties with salt and pepper. Cook the patties thoroughly.

Spread for the "Baby, You Can Chive My Car" Burger

To prepare the spread for the bun you will mix sour cream, dijon mustard, and chopped chives.

To assemble your burger place the feta filled patty onto the bun and top with the spread. Garnish each burger with 4 pickles that can be attached with toothpicks. Viola! The “Baby, You Can Chive My Car” Burger.
